We believe that a disciplined, business-driven mindset can solve social challenges more effectively than dependency-based charity.
Sustainable change does not come from one-time donations. It comes from building income-generating systems that allow organizations to stand on their own.
Our approach is simple:
When a partner organization becomes financially self-reliant, dignity increases and uncertainty decreases.
One of our core principles is complete transparency.
We believe that trust is earned through clarity. For every initiative we undertake, we openly share:
All financial and material transactions conducted by us will be clearly documented and shared. Social impact should be measurable—not assumed.
To create a steady monthly income stream for the orphanage through a simple, low-barrier logistics business.
In 2021, we funded the purchase of a pickup truck for the orphanage.
The premise was straightforward: use the vehicle to generate income by transporting goods for retailers, warehouses, Amazon deliveries, and small businesses in the area.
The orphanage owner personally drives the vehicle, allowing income to go directly toward supporting the children.
This model was designed to:
This recurring income supports:
More importantly, it introduced a mindset shift—from uncertainty to structured revenue generation.
This initiative marked the beginning of our sustainable livelihood strategy.
Instead of funding monthly expenses indefinitely, we invested once to create recurring income.
It is not perfect. It is not massive.
But it is practical, measurable, and replicable.

To build a scalable dairy operation that generates recurring income and eventually becomes the primary source of financial stability for the orphanage.
This initiative represents our long-term vision of creating a self-sustaining business that funds daily operations without depending entirely on donations.
As part of a broader dairy business plan, we started small in 2022 by purchasing two cows. The milk was sold daily to a local dairy buyer, creating immediate cash flow.
Over the past four years, the herd has grown organically. Today, the orphanage maintains:
In addition to dairy livestock, the orphanage also raises poultry and goats to support food security and partial self-sustenance.
Milk production currently averages 30–40 liters per day, which is sold to the local dairy market.
The orphanage is located in a remote town, but fortunately benefits from proximity to a lake, providing reliable access to water—an important factor in sustaining livestock.
As the herd expanded, we gradually invested in building the necessary infrastructure to operate efficiently and responsibly:
To improve efficiency and animal care, we also invested in:
Orphanage ensures regular veterinary visits to maintain herd health and productivity.
We list only the direct costs covered by Savants Foundation.
The orphanage has independently raised and contributed additional funds separately.
We are also grateful to the local village council for donating land for the orphanage, which made this expansion possible.
The dairy operation is still in its early growth phase.
At present, the income generated from milk sales is nearly covering the cost of maintaining the herd. However, cash flow is not yet fully stable.
Production and revenue fluctuate depending on:
This initiative represents a long-term sustainable model rather than a short-term revenue source.
Our goal is to:
If successful, this model can fully fund food, education, and most of the daily care for the children.
Like all businesses, this takes time, patience, and disciplined execution. We are building it steadily, step by step.
This dairy initiative is not charity—it is enterprise with a social purpose.
Instead of funding expenses year after year, we are building an asset base that can generate recurring income for decades.

To establish a fully operational dairy processing and packaging unit that enables direct distribution of milk to urban consumers, significantly increasing revenue and long-term sustainability.
This initiative represents the ultimate goal of the dairy model — moving from raw milk sales to value-added processing and branded distribution.
While selling raw milk provides baseline income, true sustainability comes from processing and retail distribution.
The plan is to:
By controlling processing and distribution, the orphanage can significantly improve margins and stabilize cash flow.
A dedicated warehouse facility has been constructed to house the processing equipment and support smooth operations.
The facility includes:
Labor has been hired in the city to manage last-mile delivery to households.
All equipment was purchased used from an existing dairy operation to reduce capital cost while maintaining functionality.
Total Investment so far by Savants Foundation: ₹5,50,000
Equipment acquired includes:
This setup enables a complete pasteurization and packaging process within one facility. Additional costs like labor and construction were managed by the orphanage through other donations.
At scale, this facility has the potential to multiply current revenue significantly.
The facility is not yet fully operational due to electrical voltage limitations in the remote location.
The orphanage owner is actively working with the local electricity provider to resolve the issue.
Operations are expected to begin by the end of Q2 2026.
Once milk processing stabilizes, future plans include:
Additional agricultural diversification plans under consideration include:
These initiatives aim to create multiple revenue streams and increase resilience.
This facility represents the transition from small-scale farming to structured enterprise.
If successful, it can:
We are optimistic about the future and committed to making this vision operational.
